I hope everyone is having a very Merry Christmas! The picture below I took of our neighbors/friends. Every year they do a funny christmas card picture that they send to all their friends and family. I can’t wait to see what they continue to come up with. I thought this one was epic.

2009So last week the peninsula has been crowded with people coming down for the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. I grew up in Nebraska so a boat parade was unheard of, our lakes were FROZEN. I couldn’t believe how many people come down to watch this parade. The peninsula felt like it was spring break in the middle of winter with so many cars and people. This was supposedly their 101st year of doing this parade. We had some friends over on Saturday for our 1st Grover Christmas party. Here’s a picture and a little video from the boat parade. Just got myself a Christmas gift in the mail the other day. I got a new lens! The Canon 50mm L 1.2 I have been wanting this lens for awhile but finally decided to take the plunge. I am in love with it already.  50mm 1.2 canon It’s hard to believe but last year was a big moment of me stepping into my manhood. I went up to Seattle to spend Thanksgiving with Aimee’s family and Brian Wurzell and I decided that it was finally time that we cooked the Turkey for everyone. We smoked it and sure put a lot of time into doing it. As I would love to smoke a Turkey again this year, we have more important things to do like go on our honeymoon! Aimee and I fly out to Kauai today :) Here’s the video that Brian and I made from our Turkey experience: Happy Turkey Day!!! So one of my new favorite shows on TV right now is Glee. Over the past 3 weeks I thought that the lead actress Lea Michele looked awful familiar so I looked her up on IMDB and sure enough she was in the musical Spring Awakening which I saw in New York about 2 years ago. I was on tour with the Breast Cancer 3 day at the time and we had a day off in NYC. I never stay after and see the cast but one of the guys I went with always stays and to get autographs for every musical he goes to. So I only took one picture and met one person and sure enough it was Lea Michele. How funny is this picture? Check out how long my hair was back then  Lea Michele |
