So I did this shoot a few months ago but was holding off to post it until their new website was up. Chas asked me to do photography for his rockin Omaha Fitness Boot Camp called Devetter Fitness. If you live in the Omaha, NE area and you need a good kick in the butt go to it. His boot camp is awesome and next time I’m in Omaha I’ll be there :)

Here are some pictures from the surf at the Wedge today. I took a little break from editing and headed down to the Wedge which is close to where I live on Balboa Peninsula. A big swell came in last night and today we were getting 20 plus ft waves. Here is a quick post of some surfing pictures and a video I took of one guy catching a wave. It was amazing how many people came down there today. The Peninsula was packed!! I was so bummed to hear that a 50 year old man died as he crashed into the rocks on the wedge.

I got this shot last week at the Reef Restaurant in Long Beach of Gina and Roberts wedding a couple weeks ago. I think this kid has got potential. He had the steady hand while walking backwards and getting that frame. He’s hired :)

I remember going to the wedge a few years back to watch the big surf; it was all body boarders and 1 surfer out there- same sized waves. We all watched the surfer and though, “man, that guy is crazy.” When he walked up on the shore, it turned out to be my cousin. Because of how the wedge is crazy shore break, when those guys drop down to the very bottom, often times they’re in about 2 feet of water. Some get their scag caught in the sand and get ejected. Awesome pics- you should send them to Mike Larson.
