Last week Aimee and I had our engagement party at Rudy’s Pub and Grill in Newport Beach, CA.  They were so nice to block off a spot for us to have our party.  We had about 40 of our closest friends show up and say hi.  Even Christopher Wren showed up and took these fab photos for us.  My dad was in town that week and he helped us out so much!  He ran wedding errands with us all week.  It was so fun to have him there and be a part of the planning process.  Here’s a few photos of the engagement party!  Thanks to all who came :)

So excited to share with you guys our wedding invitations.  They are suppose to come in the mail today!  We had Promise design them and she nailed it right on the spot.  Aimee had a vision of what she wanted and told Promise and I think we only had 1 revision.  I couldn’t believe how amazing they turned out.  If you need any type of design work use Promise!  She’s one of the best out there :)  Check her blog out at: http://www.promisetangemanblog.com

Aimee and I had an awesome trip to Las Vegas to take May and Aaron’s wedding pictures.  It was at Paris Hotel.  It was so nice to have them ask us even though we couldn’t take pictures inside the chapel.   A lot of the hotel chapels in Las Vegas have a hotel photographer already in the package.   So we weren’t allowed to stand up and take any pictures during the actual ceremony.  But besides that we were sure able to get a lot of different looks.  Vegas has so many different options for pictures.  We even did a Gondola ride at the Venetian.  Congrats to May and Aaron!!!  Aimee and I had so much fun with you two!

I had such an amazing time in Milwaukee taking pictures of Andy and Tara’s wedding.  I knew both of them in high school when they started dating.   It was fun to be at their wedding because I knew a lot of people that came from the Omaha area.  They got married at St. John Cathedral in downtown Milwaukee and then had their reception over in the Third Ward District.  Congrats to Tara and Andy and thanks for asking me to be a part of your day!
