Grover Kitchen | Before + After

We haven't shared too much of our home renovation projects on the blog just yet, but we thought it might be fun to start off with our kitchen! We purchased this 1960's home in September of 2012. The washer and dryer were originally in the kitchen, so we moved them to the garage in exchange for more storage and counter space. We also removed most of the wall that separated the kitchen from the living space and re-arranged the appliances a bit. Thankfully, we didn't have to move the sink or gas hook-ups. It might be hard to fully see the layout in the photo below, but there is door leading to the backyard on the right side (near the previous washer and dryer). The kitchen was designed by Aimee and most was purchased from Ikea. We are excited to share the rest of our space on the blog soon! Grover-House-1Portola-Revamp-1
